SUNRISE has contributed to a new policy brief led by the German FEdA project ECO²SCAPE, developed in collaboration with a consortium of partner projects. SUNRISE joined this joint effort alongside several European initiatives.
The policy brief focuses on transdisciplinary research and highlights its critical role in addressing complex societal and environmental challenges. Its main objective is to inform policy makers and funding bodies on how to better facilitate and support transdisciplinary approaches, through adapted funding regulations and improved career perspectives for researchers working across disciplines and with societal actors.
While this publication represents an important step toward strengthening transdisciplinary research frameworks in Europe, it is currently available only in German.
