The GfÖ Annual Meeting 2025 provided an excellent platform for SUNRISE to engage with the ecological research community and share ongoing work supporting Europe’s agroecological transition.
During the dedicated Poster Session on “Agriculture, grasslands, landscape ecology”, the consortium presented two posters highlighting key aspects of the project:
1️⃣ SUNRISE – Supporting the agroecological transition through living labs networks
This poster introduced SUNRISE’s collaborative approach, demonstrating how living labs and agroecology living labs (AELLs) foster co-creation, stakeholder engagement, and systemic change.
2️⃣ Fostering agroecological transition in Europe – Insights into co-design processes and ecological monitoring in SUNRISE
Focusing on field-level implementation, this poster showcased methodologies and early results on participatory co-design and ecological monitoring across partner regions.
The event was a valuable opportunity for knowledge exchange, interaction with the wider ecological community, and strengthening collaboration toward a more sustainable and resilient agricultural future.
SUNRISE continues to contribute to the growing dialogue on agroecology in Europe—bridging research, practice, and innovation.
