The SUNRISE consortium successfully held its first General Assembly on 15–16 April in Iceland, bringing together partners from across Europe to reflect on progress and shape the next steps of the project.
The meeting was hosted by the Agricultural University of Iceland, providing an inspiring setting for collaboration and exchange.
The agenda included interactive workshops, encouraging partners to exchange experiences and co-develop ideas. Key topics included:
- Strengthening the functioning of Multi-Actor Teams
- Supporting long-term sustainability of Living Labs
- Exploring pathways for upscaling successful practices
These sessions fostered active participation and collaborative thinking, contributing to the development of practical strategies for the next phases of the project.

And it wasn’t only about the meeting! Partners also had the chance to experience Iceland’s unique landscape, enjoying an excursion to breathtaking waterfalls and hot springs, making the meeting days even more memorable.
The General Assembly marked an important milestone for SUNRISE, setting a clear direction for the months ahead. Special thanks to the Agricultural University of Iceland for the excellent hospitality in Iceland!
